नामाचा महिमा कोण जाणे सीमा I
चतुर्मुख ब्रह्मा नेणे काही I
संसारा आलिया हेचि आहे जोड़ी I
अखंड घ्यावी गोडी हरिनामे II
सहस्रमुखे शेष वाखाणिता कीर्ती I
नाही तया तृप्ति आजवरी II
पशु पक्षी तृण कीटक अपार I
नामे गेले पार उतरोनि II
कापुराचे राशी पड़े अग्निकण I
तैसे नाम जाण पातकासी II
नामाग्नीने दोष जळती येकसरा I
कैवल्य ये घरा बसले ठायीं II
नामा म्हणे धन्य नामाचा प्रताप I

It says ,
" In this composition Saint Namdev has elucidated the glory of Name Worship Of the Supreme Lord. He says ,
The Name Worship of Lord Supreme Is boudless yet all encompassing.
It is believed that Lord Brahma has four heads and the wisdom of four Vedic Scriptures is attributed to Lord Brahma. The glory of Name Worship of Supreme Lord is beyond the realm of this ancient wisdom. On assuming human birth , One must seek virtue by making a conscious effort to recite name of Supreme Lord incessantly. The contentment derived from it is immense.
Shesh Naag , the king of snakes , has thousand tongues. Everyday with each , he recites the Name of Supreme Lord Vishnu , but without fulfilment. The Innumerable species were emancipated by Name Worship of Supreme Lord over the time.
Burning Of Camphor symbolizes union with God. Just as the Camphor burns out without leaving any resudue , similarly One's ego burns in the brilliant glow of Name Worship of Lord Supreme to facilitate the union with the Divine. The Name Worship of Supreme Lord is a Divine fire which burns out the sins , unfolding the Path of Liberation.
Saint Namdev has thus enunciated the majesty of the Name Worship of Supreme Lord , it being the sure way to attain Oneness with the Divine. "
