हरि तजि अनत न जाई रे II
बलिराजा धुंधमार न जीवै जुग चार I
मेरी मेरी करता , ते भी गये रे मन मंझा II
रे मन मछिन्द्रनाथ सहस चौरासी होते I
ते भी देखत काल लीये रे मन मंझा II
रवि ससि दोऊ भाई , फिरत गगन लाई I
ऐसे भूला भ्रम सच जाई रे मन मंझा II
अहंकार दिन दस राखिले दिन च्यार I
पसूडानै मुकति न होई रे मन मंझा II
नामदेव छिप्यो चौपई गाई  I
जाकर जैसा भावें तिन तैसी सिद्धि पाई रे मन मंझा II


     संत नामदेव


It says ,
" In this composition , Saint Namdev implores the ' Mind '  to zero in its attention on the devotion of Supreme Lord Shri Ram. He says ,
We live a fugitive life. None who is born is beyond the realm of It's ephemeral nature . Be it a mighty king Bali , who was the ruler of the three worlds or a great Sage Machhindranath who had 84000 followers , no one is invincible to the powerful clutches of death. Wandering mind under the illusion is like continuous orbiting of Sun and Moon in the sky. The journey of Self Realisation is all about the reflective thought of the virtues inculcated within. Our mind is a garden , thoughts are the seeds. We can grow flowers or we can grow weeds. Saint Namdev thus insists that our thought process need to be cleansed time and again to be "One" with the Supreme Consciousness. "
