नाम तेचि रूप , रूप तेचि नाम I
नामरूप भिन्न नाही नाही II
आकारला देव नामरूपा आला I
म्हणोनि स्थापिला नामवेदी II
नामापरता मंत्र नाही हो आणिक I
सांगती ते मूर्ख ज्ञानहीन II
नामा म्हणे नाम केशव केवळ I
जाणती प्रेमळ भक्त भले II

It says ,
" Among the nine fold path of devotional love to God , the Name Worship is a constant dwelling on the Lord Supreme and His glories. Illuminating the significance of Name Worship Saint Namdev says ,
The Name Worship of the Lord Supreme is a catalyst in the journey of Self Realisation. Unceasing recital  of name of Supreme Lord offers tranquility of mind which is unparalleled. It unburdens One from religious rituals and mere wordly knowledge. Saint Namdev says , the Name and Form of God are inseparable. The manifestation of Eternal all pervading Divine consciousness is reflected as Supreme Lord Shiva , Supreme Lord Shri Ram , Supreme Lord Vitthal. The Name of Supreme Lord is deemed equivalent to the glory of Vedic Scriptures. Unlike the Vedas , the Name Worship of Supreme Lord is unbiased and is attainable by all living beings. Saint Namdev regards the Name Worship of Supreme Lord as the fifth Vedic Scripture and calls it " नामवेद " .
The Name of Supreme Lord is secondless and is much effortless mode to attain Self Realisation.
Saint Namdev says that the Name of Supreme Lord bridges the un-maifested and manifested form of the Supreme Consciousness. The Name Worship instills the Supreme Lord Narayan deep within. He then awards the four fold liberations . These  liberations " मुक्ती ", are liberation of the mind from bondage of senses.
In this composition Saint Namdev has elucidated the glory of the Name Worship of Lord Supreme and in a way cautioned from the ritualistic means of devotion. "
